  David Collingham, K3LP will be speaking about “Youth and Amateur Radio”. • Richard Bunn, N4ASX will be speaking about Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES).  The Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES) consists of licensed amateurs who have voluntarily registered their qualifications and equipment, with their local ARES leadership, for communications duty in the public service when disaster strikes. On Friday, March 27 at 8pm, the public is invited to join us as HacDC Amateur Radio Club (HARC) participates in the CQ WPX (Worked All Prefixes) Contest, where we attempt to contact as many stations as possible, with as many different call sign prefixes as possible over 48 hours.  We hope to contact 1000+ stations from 100+ countries during this major contest event which ends Sunday, March 29 at 8pm.  Join us at meetup.com.
