What To Expect
Visitors are welcome to drop by whenever the space is unlocked. Feel free to look around, ask questions, use equipment, and build things. Our community has strong diversity from artists to technology experts, regularly providing information and training.
Hours
HacDC is open to the public whenever a member is present to keep the doors unlocked. Monday and Wednesday nights are popular gathering times, usually with 5-15 people present, and at least a couple general technology experts. Additionally, members will be present for most events marked on our calendar. Please consider checking our Discord to ensure events are not cancelled. Individuals present at our hackerspace can report on probable availability for your chosen arrival time.

HacDC is located on the second floor of Tivoli Square Theater, 3333 14th St NW Suite M110, at the intersection of 14th St and Park Rd NW in the Columbia Heights area of Washington, DC.
Visitors should enter through the main 14th St NW entrance with the theater marquee. Please post in our #let-me-in Discord channel or call us at +1(707)407-1337 when you arrive for entry.
Walking Directions from the Columbia Heights Metro Station
- Take metro to Columbia Heights Metro Station (Green/Yellow Line)
- Emerge from metro station and go north about two blocks on the East side of 14th Street
- The entrance is located in the middle of the block between Park Road and Monroe St
- HacDC is on the second floor on the south side of the building in suite M110
Walking Directions from Metrobus D50/D5X
- Hop off at the 14th St. stop depending on direction
- Northbound busses stop at Monroe St
- Southbound busses stop at Park St, you will have to cross 14th St when you disembark
- Walk to the middle of the block between Park Road and Monroe St, to the main theater marquee signage
- HacDC is on the second floor on the south side of the building in suite M110
Parking
The building has paid 24/7 parking available, there is a ramp at the intersection of Park Road and Holmead Place NW. Otherwise, there is various street parking around the building, although some locations may require a residential parking permit.
